  1. I can receive emails in MS Outlook, but cannot send emails.

Your email client is not configured to authenticate first before sending the email. To prevent the service from being abused by spammers, our email server requires users to log on before sending any emails. Please make sure you have checked “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication” in Outlook (or other email client) Email Settings. Please see the screenshot below:

  2. I sent a test email from my DriveHQ email account to two email addresses, only one address received it. Why?

Please check the junk/bulk mail folder of the recipient's email account. Some email servers might block DriveHQ email server or your email account incorrectly. Please contact the recipient's email server administrator to unblock DriveHQ email server or your email account. To further trouble shoot the problem, please forward the bounce-back email to DriveHQ customer support.

  3. I cannot receive emails since today (or yesterday). It worked fine before.

Please log on to DriveHQ.com and check if your account is in good status. If there is a negative balance, please make a payment online. The problem is often caused by your storage usage. Note your combined email and file storage usage must be less than your account's max storage space. If you have an individual account, you can upgrade to a larger subscription plan. If you are a sub-user of a group account, please make sure you have been allocated with enough storage space by your group account owner.

  4. I cannot send emails since today (or yesterday). It worked fine before.

Please log on to DriveHQ.com and check if your account is in good status. If there is a negative balance, please make a payment online. The problem is often caused by exceeding the send limit. Note free service members can only send a few emails for testing. If your account is a paid account (or a sub-account of a paid group account), you can send a lot more emails. However, you cannot use our service to send spam, bulk, phishing or other inappropriate emails. If you use our email service for normal business purpose, and if you are really a heavy email sender, you can order a subscription plan, or ask your group account owner to allocate more storage space to you. More storage space will allow you to send more emails per day.

  5. I use DriveHQ for hosting my company domain email. How can I create an email address like sales@mydomain.com? I cannot create a sub-user with the username "sales".

You can create a sub-user with the username "mydomain_sales", then enter sales@mydomain.com as the alias.
