We know that "upload files" has always been a tough job, that's why we have made upload so easy on DriveHQ.com.

Web Browser Based Upload

• It is that simple, you don't need to install any client applications. Just log on to DriveHQ, click on "MY STORAGE", click on a folder that you want your files uploaded to or create a new folder. Click on "Up Load". Browse and select files you want to upload, and then click on "Submit".
• You can also choose to create a new file instead of uploading an existing file. Click on "New File", it will go to the "Edit File" Page. You can enter the file name, file caption, file description and file content (must be text file). Click "Ok" and the new file will be saved on DriveHQ.com;
• In the second case, you can also choose to download a new file from a URL. DriveHQ web server can connect to the URL and download the file directly through our server to server communication. This could save you lots of time downloading the file from the URL and then upload the file to DriveHQ.com, esp. if you are on a slow connection. There is yet another better option: you can create a .URLLink file, which is a text file containing the URL. As long as the URL is accessible, it is nearly identical on DriveHQ.com. This way, you can even save a lot of storage space on DriveHQ, as the URLLink usually takes little space.

Use DriveHQ Uploader (Recommended)

• The version 2.0 release of DriveHQ Uploader has added lots of new features. It is no longer just an uploader, it is a complete file manager for DriveHQ. Moreover there are many improvements on usability, stability and unicode support, etc. Please click here for more information.

Use DriveHQ FTP Client (Recommended)

• DriveHQ FTP Solution is the world's most scalable FTP solution to support "Named Users" (vs. Anonymous Users). DriveHQ FileManager is designed to greatly enhance the web-based File Storage and Sharing features available on www.drivehq.com. It works just like Window Explorer. Not only it can manage local files, but also it can manage files on www.drivehq.com with the familiar Windows Explorer user interface. It supports many advanced file-transferring technologies, such as compressed transfer, secure transfer with SSL, resume interrupted transfer, file caching, etc. Drag-n-drop files/folders from/to Windows Explorer is also supported. DriveHQ FileManager also integrates with other DriveHQ software applications and Windows Explorer. You can right click on any files/folders and launch WWWShare or WWWBackup.

Upload Files Using Email Attachments

• DriveHQ Email Hosting service is fully integrated with DriveHQ's cloud storage service. You can email your files to yourusername@firstcloudit.com, when you receive the message on DriveHQ.com website, you can save the attachments to your folder on DriveHQ.com. 

Limitations

There is a limited amount of storage space for each account. If upload fails, please check your account balance by clicking on "My Account" and then "Account Balance". If you run out of storage space, you can subscribe more storage space, which also upgrades your account to "Paid Account" and you will enjoy more of our premium services.
