DriveHQ.com includes Public Area, Share Area and Private Area;

Public Area includes features that are accessible to any web surfers, currently, they are:

  • Published Contents; (include Published Files/Folders and Published Websites)
  • Public Forum;
  • Classified Ads,

Share Area is accessible only to a group of people, usually family members, friends, or members of an organization. Share Area includes:

  • Shared Files and Folders;
  • Group Forum;
  • Group Contacts (and Group Schedules will arrive soon);

Private Area is a accessible only to one member. Private Area includes:

  • My Files and Folders;
  • Contacts and Messages;
  • Schedules (coming soon);
  • My Products and (Un-published) My Advertisements;
  • My Account;

Any type of users can access the public area of DriveHQ.com, however there are retrictions on non-member users. In general, those users can only browse the site for information and contents; they cannot upload files; cannot post messages to Public BBS; cannot publish files/folders and websites; cannot post advertisements.

For better service, a user should sign up an account on DriveHQ.com.

There are 3 types of user accounts on DriveHQ:

  • Free Account :

Any user can sign up a Free Account with a valid email address, and the service is free.

  • True Account : (It's still FREE!)

If we can confirm the member's information, the account type will be upgraded to True Account. The service is still free;

How to become a "True Member"? There are two ways:

  • Use a real company email or paid email as your profile email address; (Don't use free email accounts from Yahoo or Hotmail, etc.;)
  • Deposit at least $10 into your account or make any one product order;
  • Paid Account :

You can become a paid member to enjoy premium services; please go from: My Account --> Subscribe to become a paid member. A Paid Account has all the benefits of True Account, plus more storage space:

  • More storage service for online photos and files;
  • Can host personal or small business websites;
  • Get free FTP hosting and online emails.
In essence, a Non-Paid account is only suitable for personal use; while a paid account is suitable for professionals, content providers and for online e-tailers.
