We are a sports technology company and we have a product called camera replay. This product consists of a button, a camera and currently a DVR.
The product is intended for sports arenas, in which players, after making a bid, can press the button, which will trigger the camera's pre-alarm and capture the last 30 seconds, storing it on the DVR and sending it via FTP to our server.
We have proprietary development software that decodes this video, edits it with watermarks, encodes it again in non-proprietary mp4 format and sends it to google drive.
We want to eliminate the use of DVR, we need a software that:
- allow moving the video file stored in the camera to an ftp;
- allow scheduling the event of moving the file from a time delta or a trigger;
- the premise of sending to ftp is through the following path hierarchy:
/FTP/specific_folder/data/camera_id
Since each camera (or set of cameras, as we can have more than one per arena) will send the files with the same ftp access and path.
The FTP solution is just an example, the purpose is to move the videos from the camera to our server.

If your camera supports FTP/SFTP, then you can simply configure your camera to upload footage to CameraFTP cloud. You can view your camera's live or recorded footage from anywhere at any time.
If your camera does not support FTP, you can try to upload camera footage via emails/SMTP to CameraFTP cloud. Otherwise, your camera probably is not compatible with our service.
You can use a webcam as an IP security camera, or use an old iPhone, iPad or Android device as an IP camera. CameraFTP does not offer custom software development service.
CameraFTP has a lot of introductory / tutorial videos, please watch them online for more info:
