 hello everyone ,

i would like to implement hikvision NVR (DS-7608NI-K1/8P) with 4 ip camera (DS-2CD1143G0-I-B40) and make the local HDD to record the main stream videos. also i want to upload the motion detection and alarms events on the cloud. (i don't want the complete recording to be uploaded to cloud because it will consume a lot of bandwith, i want only events and alarms to be uploaded with the video events and footages)

on the NVR i will configure motion detection or crossline detection and if an event triggered, i would receive the alarm on my account in cameraFTP .

anyone try to connect hikvision NVR with cameraFTP ?

and how it would look like ?

please support me on this matter .

thank you in advance .

Subject: Re:does hikvision NVR support cameraFTP ?

If your cameras are IP cameras, then you can configure them to upload to CameraFTP directly. HikVision IP cameras can upload image snapshots. Both continuous recording and motion recording are supported. Please visit this Setup Guide page:

HikVision IP cameras are also compatible with CameraFTP VSS software. With CameraFTP VSS, you can use a PC as a CCTV DVR system. (For Hikvision IP cameras, it is important to enable ONVIF and create a separate ONVIF account, otherwise VSS may not be able to detect the cameras or connect to them)
